​I began work as a camp counselor, after my second year I was promoted to group leader. Being a group leader I coordinate activities both on and off camp grounds, work directly under upper management and communicate those instructions with co-workers, as well as organize and run events for campers.

Children of Zion Village - Race Across the World
Co-Chair
2013-2014
Race Across the World is a jog-a-thon to race money for Children of Zion Village, an orphanage in Namibia, Africa. I was the co-chair of this race for two years in a row and rose over $25,000. For this event I ran committee meetings, created an informational and promotional flyer and website as well as brought in sponsors for the event.
Children of Zion Village - Christmas Drive

​For this Christmas drive, I brought in sponsors to give 54 children in an orphanage in Africa Chrismtas presents. I also created the organizational system for incoming donations and then facilitated the distribution of those donations.
Children of Zion Village - Mission Trip

​From May 30th to June 14th 2016 I will be going on a mission trip with six other team members to Children of Zion Village, an orphanage in Namibia, Africa. For this mission trip we have created fundraisers such as a spaghetti dinner and vintage fair/flea market. For the vintage fair and flea market I was put in charge of marketing. I created promotional flyers and reached out to local company's to get interest in taking part of the event.
